Weslaco Satellite Center

The Weslaco Satellite Center opened its doors in January 2007 and is open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays to provide services to victims of family violence and face-to-face crisis intervention to victims. 

Legal Advocates provide victims with information about their rights and remedies and make necessary referrals for them to obtain legal representation.  Advocates also assist victims in obtaining protective orders and will transport clients to court for legal proceeding if necessary. 

Outreach Advocates provide outreach services to victims in colonias and rural areas.  They also participate in health fairs and conduct presentations on agency services, domestic violence and sexual assault issues for the community.  In addition, BIPP/ Anger Management classes are held once a week to accommodate people needing this service who are residents of Weslaco and surrounding cities.
