Founded in 2002 the Nueva
Vida Transitional Supportive Housing Program provides short term
temporary (18 month) housing to women and their children who are
victims of family violence or sexual assault.
The goal of the Nueva Vida
Transitional Supportive Housing Program is to assist families to live
a violent - free life through case management while ensuring
residential stability.
In 2006, the Domestic
Violence Assistance Program (D.V.A.P.) was implemented to advocate
and empower women and their children.
In addition, this program
focuses on exposing clients to job readiness, job placement/training
assistance and educational enrollment. Child care assistance is
provided to victims who want to pursue educational opportunities.
Appropriate life skills are also conducted for families who have
