Prevention Education
Women Together/Mujeres Unidas is working towards promoting a safer, happier, healthier environment and future for our community and for the younger generations to come. The community we strive for is one in which we would like to see where sexual assault/violence is decreased and even prevented.
The goal of prevention is to make our community and the youth aware of the prevalence and the severity of sexual assault/violence by educating them on the importance of these issues. Part of the prevention education includes presentations that teach children and teens on misconceptions regarding sexual assault/violence and to break away from these misconceptions.
In hopes of educating the youth through increased awareness, based on reliable information, we can see our community working together to create an environment where we can all feel safe.
