Batterer’s Intervention Program

This psycho-educational group settings allow participants to:

ü  Participate actively in taking responsibility for their abusive behaviors

ü  Explore ways to end violent behavior

ü  Learn non-abusive problem solving skills

ü  Attend 24-week program, 1.5 hours of group

ü  Explore a structured curriculum

ü  English and Spanish groups

ü  Evening groups

ü  Trained community mental health providers co-facilitate the group process.

Program Cost

Initial Intake Fee: $35.00

Cost Per Group: $15.00

Total Program Cost: $395.00

If you are abusive…

Here are some options:

ü  Help is a phone call away. Call our hotline at 1-800-580-4879 and talk to a counselor about our program.

ü  Take a time out by remaining calm, walking away, and reflecting on other ways to handle situations that make you angry.

ü  Call a friend or family member that can listen and guide you with positive ways to diffuse your violence.

ü  Remember, only you can stop the violence in your life.

ü  Take the first step, the choice is yours.
