24 Hour Shelter / 24 Hour Hotline

The 24 hour shelter operates 365 days a year. Unlike most shelters that open for a good night of sleep, this shelter operates 24 hours a day to offer the residents a safe place to come back to while they are seeking resources for a successful shelter exit.

Shelter stay for a client is automatically 2 weeks. Advocates and Social Service staff there work with the client to provide an individual service plan. Based on the assessment of the advocate or social service staff, shelter stay for some clients may be extended.

Victims of domestic violence that are unable to call the office during office hours can call the hotline at any time to get assistance. If a victim is seeking shelter at a time when the offices are closed the victim can call the hotline and the advocate on-call can guide them through the process.
