Women Together Shelter

For 30 years Mujeres Unidas has been providing emergency shelter and services to families who are fleeing from domestic violence in their homes.  Currently, we are the only 24/7 shelter that operates in Hidalgo and Starr Counties.

Thousands of women and children have come to us seeking just one good night of peace.  We provide services that enable them to break the cycle of violence and live a life free from oppression.

Assessing the needs of each family and providing daily programs are the goals we strive to meet.
